Starting Day 3 in San Jose de Acoa

Welcome back to day three of our four day venture. By the time we departed Rancho Tipico de Las Aguilas we didn’t arrive into Barahona till past 6:00 P.M. Two full days have caught up with us, so we decided to spend the night in Barahona. We were lucky to find a place for whatever reason it was booked. A bit of hunting and we found a place that also included dinner in their restaurant. After we enjoyed dinner the three of us decided to share an evening bottle before getting some sleep. Sometime later we came to the decision that we didn’t want to re-film any of the areas previously covered so we’re picking this up the following morning when we’re arriving into San Jose de Acoa. Enjoy the drive through a typical village from there we begin a 4 hour backroad trip ending in Constanza. It’s in Constanza that we’ll spend our final night before heading back to Cabrera. If anybody’s butt isn’t sore yet after today it will be. It’s a long ride. Until next time, Barry in DR.
